Booking Fee

To secure your wedding date, a £100 non-refundable retainer fee is required. This is fully redeemable from your wedding day makeup balance.

Please note that no date is secure in the diary without a booking fee. If you delay paying your booking fee, you may need to recheck Abigail’s availability.

Trials

Trials are usually held at Abigail’s home address during daylight hours.

Occasionally, there is flexibility for larger group bookings requiring trials. Abigail will try to accommodate these at the weekend, subject to her availability.

The trial fee is due within 48 hours of booking the trial date and is not refundable once booked.

Cancellations

If your wedding is cancelled, your booking fee and trial fee (if a trial has been carried out) will not be refunded.

The full balance is due four weeks before the wedding. If the wedding is cancelled, or you cancel Abigail’s services within this time, the full balance is still due.

For occasion makeups, a 24-hour cancellation policy is in place. Anything less than this may result in a charge for the missed treatment.

If Abigail needs to cancel due to illness, she will attempt to find a replacement bridal makeup artist. If unsuccessful, a refund will be made minus any completed trials.

Bridal Booking

Once the bridal party numbers are confirmed and the final balance is paid, reductions to the numbers will not be refunded. Additional people can be added, subject to Abigail’s discretion and availability.

Destination weddings require 50% of the total booking upfront.

If an assistant is required for larger bridal parties or to alleviate an early start time, the assistant fee is £100.00.

Children

• Aged 10 and under: complimentary blusher, shimmer and gloss.
• Flower girls aged 11–14: £25.00.

Force Majeure

Abigail is not responsible for cancellations caused by events outside of her control. Clients are advised to obtain wedding insurance.

Photography

Abigail loves to capture the makeup and some getting-ready shots before your ceremony. If you would rather no photographs were taken or shared on social media, please advise Abigail of this.

Abigail does not share any pictures from your trial before your wedding date.

Mileage

Mileage is charged at 65p per mile from NN4 (return).
